Meet the Prekindergarten Teacher

Mrs. Lisa Vira

 

Hi, I'm Mrs. Lisa.

It's my pleasure to return to Wonder Academy as one of the teachers in the 4-year-old classroom.

​

Working with children is a second career for me but something I've wanted to do since I was young.  Children delight me with their humor and personality.  They teach me as much as I teach them!

​

I currently have an Associate's Degree in Education and have served as a preschool teacher for the last 6 years with children from ages 2 to 5.  I have resided in North Carolina with my husband and 2 sons for 4 years now, moving from New Jersey where I was born and raised.

​

Some of my favorite things are reading psychological thrillers, serving at my church, and spending time with my family.

​

I'm excited to be working at Wonder Academy and be a part of a group of educators that are creative, passionate, and love what they do.
