Hi, I’m Ms. Susan

​

While being semi-retired I enjoy being a grandmother and spending time with my family. My granddaughter "Tiah", is now a freshman at the University of South Carolina, started calling me "Iya" instead of Grandma when she was just one. "Iya" has stayed with me through the years and with different grandkids, now family and friends all know me as "Iya". (And I love it!)

I have worked in childcare since moving to North Carolina in CMS and after school programs. Working with children and watching them learn and grow into young adults is very rewarding and satisfying to me. I have an Associate's degree in Business Management and a license in Community Association Management. I am also a retired First Responder and CPR instructor, certified for infants, children, and adults and also in First Aid.

I am currently enrolled in childcare programs with the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education. I enjoy working with children of all ages and love the outdoors. 

 

I enjoy the simple things in life, especially seeing happy faces on our little ones. I look forward to meeting you and your children.
