Meet our Preschool Co-Teacher
Ms. Becca Willams
Hi! I’m Ms. Becca.
I am a 28-year-old who happens to be mistaken for a 12-year-old a lot. I enjoy cleaning and organization in my spare time. It’s just something to keep my hands busy as I am a high energy person! I will never stop going! I am a mom to 3 beautiful children who are all at very different stages in life. (Anna - high schooler, Connor - elementary schooler, Cara - preschooler.)
I have always loved children, but I found my real passion to teach when I was a stay-at-home mom with my first-born, Connor. He grew so quickly. I became very aware that he was so curious about the world around him, but I had no idea where to begin. I enrolled him in a preschool center and began to work alongside his teachers to learn more about how children learn and grow. I was hooked! I am currently studying at South Piedmont Community College to earn my degree in Early Childhood Education. It gives me pride to care for young children and watch them grow into amazing kids!
My philosophy of teaching is simple; a child who can socially and emotionally connect, can learn successfully. My desire is to help children feel comfortable, confident, and safe. My hope as a teacher is that children feel safe to communicate their feelings properly to their teachers and their peers.
I want children to feel JOY everyday as they learn to grow.
