Meet the Preschool Teacher

Ms. Lisa Vira

 

Hi. I’m Ms. Lisa.

I enjoy eating all kinds of different foods. I am a definite “foodie”. I love to read and remember as a little girl sitting and reading the Encyclopedia Brittanica series that my mom bought from a door-to-door salesman. My favorites were also all Beverly Clearly books and the Little House on the Prairie series. I have worked out doing CrossFit for the last 4 years so I can stay healthy and keep up with the little angels I’m entrusted to care for. 

 

Working with children is a second career for me but something I’ve wanted to do since I was very young.  Kids delight me with their wit, humor, and personality.  They teach me as much as I teach them!  I currently have an Associate Degree in Education and have served in a Christian Preschool for the last 2 years.  I recently moved here to North Carolina with my husband and 2 sons from New Jersey where I was born and raised. 

 

I’m excited to be here my first year at Wonder Academy and be part of a group of educators that are creative, passionate and love what they do.
